  • Where are you located?

    The Elevated Properties office is located at 2420 Ski Trail Lane Steamboat Springs, CO 80487.

  • How can I contact Elevated Properties?

    To reach the Front Desk, please call 970-871-9100. To reach the Reservations Team, please call the Front Desk or email reservations@steamboatelevated.com.

  • What times are check-in and check-out?

    Check-in time is 4:00pm. If a guest is to arrive early, they may store their luggage securely with the Front Desk. We can arrange a complimentary shuttle (for winter stays only) into town before check-in time. Early check-in is subject to availability, subject to additional fees, and is never guaranteed.


    Check-out is at 10:00am. If a guest is to depart property later than the check-out time, guests must vacate the residence but may store their luggage securely with the Front Desk. We can arrange a complimentary shuttle (for winter stays only) into town before guest departure. Late check-out is subject to availability, subject to additional fees, and is never guaranteed.

  • What should I do if I’m arriving after hours?

    If a guest has not arrived by the time the Front Desk closes, we’ll email late arrival instructions to the primary guest on the reservation. Upon arrival, guests will be instructed to call Strong Arm Security at 970-819-6161.

  • Are Elevated Properties vacation rentals ski-in/ski-out?

    Each of our Bear Claw and Edgemont vacation rentals are located on Stampede Run (green) located just off the Christie Peak Express mid-station about 200 yards from the base area. Simply step out of the building ski access door and click into your skis.

    Our private home rental, Skyline Retreat, is located in the mountain village less than a mile from the Steamboat base area.

  • Can I send mail or packages prior to my stay?

    We are happy to accept and store mail and packages on behalf of our guests ahead of their arrival. Our storage is limited, so please refrain from sending mail or packages to be delivered more than 5 days prior to your check-in date. All mail and packages may be addresses to the following:

  • Are your properties pet friendly?

    As much as we love pets, The HOA’s for Bear Claw I, Bear Claw II, Edgemont and our private homes do not allow pets for guests unless they are a registered service animal. Please make alternative arrangements for your pets before arriving to Elevated Properties. Please keep in mind that each condominium and private home is individually owned allowing owners to bring their pets when they visit. If you or a traveling companion have a severe pet allergy, please notify our sales team prior to booking.

  • Do you require a down payment? If so, how much will I owe and when is it due?

    Elevated Properties requires a down payment of 25% at the time of initial booking. If Travel Insurance is purchased, 100% of the insurance premium is also due at the time of booking.

  • When is my final payment due?

    The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to the check-in date. The final balance will be automatically charged to the primary credit card on file, unless the guest has communicated in advance that a different credit card should be used.

  • Do you have a cancellation policy?

    All payments made to Elevated Properties are non-refundable, non-transferrable and non-redeemable. While Travel Insurance is optional, it’s strongly encouraged to protect your vacation investment against unforeseen circumstances.   • Is Travel Insurance recommended?

    While Travel Insurance is completely optional, it is strongly encouraged to protect your vacation investment against unforeseen circumstances. We partner with Rental Guardian which is underwritten by Nationwide Insurance to provide Standard Travel Insurance and Cancel For Any Reason Travel Insurance.   • What is Accidental Damage Protection? What does it cover?

    Accidental Damage Protection is a mandatory, nonrefundable charge on each rental reservation and covers you and your family up to $1,200 for any accidental damage during your stay. Damage Protection is not an insurance policy and nothing in this agreement shall be construed to constitute a contract of insurance. Damage Protection does NOT cover intentional damage, theft, Acts of God, gross negligence, pet damage, utilities, rent, pay per view cable charges or loss of use. Any accidental damage must be reported to our office in WRITING by the end of Tenant’s stay for Damage Protection to apply. The Tenant agrees to reimburse the homeowner for any damages to the property caused by Tenant that exceeds, or is not covered by, Damage Protection or the security deposit.

  • How far away is the airport?

    The most convenient way to fly to Steamboat Springs is via the Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN). There are 16 airports nationwide that offer direct flights on 6 major airlines, and hundreds of others offering connecting flights making Steamboat more accessible than ever. Depending on the weather, HDN is an easy 35- to 45-minute drive to Elevated Properties.

    Denver International Airport is 3.5-4.5 hours away from Elevated Properties, weather depending.

  • How do you suggest getting around town?

    For winter stays only, Elevated Properties offers a courtesy property shuttle that operates on an on-call basis. Simply use our app Elevated Rides that works like many popular rideshare apps to request a ride anywhere in the mountain or downtown area. Information on downloading and using Elevated Rides will be provided prior to check-in. Our property shuttle is unable to make trips to the airport. Please contact the reservations team for assistance with booking ground transportation options to/from the airport.

  • What amenities are offered?

    The building amenities at Edgemont include a heated outdoor saltwater pool, two outdoor whirlpools, a pool locker room, a ski locker room with private ski lockers and boot dryers, a lounge with plush seating and gas fireplace, self-serve coffee, an outdoor gas fireplace overlooking the slopes and a fitness center. Edgemont guests are also welcomed to use the fitness center at Bear Claw II. 

    The building amenities at Bear Claw include a heated outdoor pool, two outdoor whirlpools, private ski lockers, a boot dryer room, and a fitness center. Please note that all Bear Claw amenities are in the Bear Claw II building.

    All Bear Claw and Edgemont guests regardless of building have access to the massage room by appointment, the sauna, and the après ski bar and lounge which are all located in Bear Claw II. For winter stays only, guests may use our complimentary property shuttle which operates on-demand to take you anywhere in the mountain or downtown area.

    Skyline Retreat offers a roof top deck with a saltwater spa, outdoor seating area with fire table, BBQ grill, washer and dryer and a 2-car garage. Guests of Skyline Retreat also have access to our complimentary property shuttle for winter stays only.

  • Do you offer daily housekeeping service?

    For Edgemont & Bear Claw Condominiums rented on a nightly basis during ski season, daily housekeeping is offered. This includes making up beds, trash removal, and delivery of fresh towels and other supplies. Guests may request additional housekeeping services when checking in at the Elevated Properties Front Desk, or by calling the Front Desk at least 24 hours in advance. These additional services are based on availability, may be subject to additional fees and are not guaranteed. Stays of 8 nights or more are offered a “mid-week” clean at the mid-point of their stay which includes fresh towels and supplies along with changing the linens on the beds, cleaning the bathrooms and kitchen, and dusting and vacuuming.

  • Will my kitchen be fully equipped?

    Each of our condominiums and private homes have a fully equipped kitchen with full size appliances. Each kitchen is stocked with cookware, bakeware, dishware, glassware, and utensils. In addition, foil sheets, Ziploc bags (gallon and quart size) and single portion spices (paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and Italian seasoning) are available at the front desk. If you have specific questions about what may be stocked in your vacation rental, please email reservations@steamboatelevated.com.

  • Will my property be stocked with toiletries?

    Each of our properties are stocked with bed linens, towels, paper towels, coffee filters, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, hand soap, a hairdryer, and dishwasher detergent.

  • Will my property have a washer and dryer?

    Each rental at Edgemont has a private in-unit washer and dryer available for guest use. A select number of Bear Claw rentals offer a private in-unit washer and dryer. There are shared laundry facilities on the ground floors of both Bear Claw I and Bear Claw II that are available to use free of charge. Laundry soap and dryer sheets are available for purchase at the Front Desk for a minimal fee.

  • Do you offer onsite parking?

    There is limited on-site parking at Bear Claw and Edgemont. Each reservation is allowed a maximum of one (1) vehicle, but availability of parking is not guaranteed. Because parking is limited during peak seasons, guests are encouraged to utilize our complementary shuttle during ski season in lieu of bringing a vehicle to property. When onsite parking is not available, guests will be asked to park in paid offsite parking garages at their expense. RV’s, campers, trailers, and boats are not permitted on property for any reason, at any time. Also note that parking is only permitted within the designated parking area for the building in which you are staying.

    Guests of Skyline Retreat are allowed up to two cars in the private garage of the home.

  • Where do I go for my rental equipment fitting?

    If you've booked a rental company for an onsite fitting at Edgemont, they'll meet you at the designated fitting area on the 1st floor of Edgemont just off the elevators. If you're waiting to be fitted, please wait in the lounge down the hall where you can enjoy a coffee or hot chocolate by the fire.

    If you've booked a rental company for an onsite fitting at Bear Claw, they'll meet you at the designated fitting area by your ski locker. Your ski locker is on the same floor as your condo.

  • What if I rent a property that is for sale?

    If a vacation rental is for sale, it may be necessary for Elevated Properties or a licensed real estate agent to show the property during the guest’s occupancy. In this case, the guest will receive a 24-hour notice to adjust their schedule accordingly. Be assured, Elevated Properties will make every attempt to schedule a showing at a time that is convenient for the guest.

  • What happens if I forget something in the rental after I leave?

    Any items left behind will be brought to lost and found at the Front Desk. If you realize you’ve forgotten an item, please call the Front Desk at 970-871-9100 with a detailed description. If your item is found, we’ll be happy to ship it home to you at your expense.
